Zoom Effect For Text – Photoshop

This Tutorial will help you to create a motion Zoom effect for Text using Adobe Photoshop. The end result will look like the zoom effect taken from camera.Follow the below steps to get a Zoom effect in photo shop.

1. SELECT ANY TEXT :

In our example we have taken the text as “PHOTOSHOP”.

2. APPLY FILTER-> DISTORT -> POLOR COORDINATES -> POLOR TO RECTANGLE :

Apply the Polar Filter to the selected Text. Before Applying Filter , photoshop will ask whether to rasterize the layer or not. Say yes to rasterize and apply the filter.

3. IMAGE -> ROTATE CANVAS CCW :

Rotate the image to CCW 90 degree , so that the zoom effect will match perfectly.

4.APPLY FILTER -> STYLIZE -> WIND :

Apply this filter from RIGHT TO LEFT 2 times . Also apply from LEFT TO RIGHT for about 2 times.

5. AGAIN FILTER -> DISTORT-> POLAR COORDINATES -> RECTANGLE TO POLAR :

You have to redo the same thing done in step 2.

6. Finally create a new layer and apply any gradient and also change the mode to LINEAR BURN .
