“We have seen the aftermath of the suicide and it is beyond devastating. Our love and prayers go out to all who are grieving the loss of a loved one, and we strongly encourage people to reach out to someone if they go through something they can’t take on their own,” Vicki’s Dream said. They went on to say, “We’re honored to enter this contest and to have so many people supporting us through this. .It’s our dream and we’re excited to be able to achieve our goals while supporting a good cause. It’s very important to us because it would open up so many opportunities for us, and we want people to care as much as we do. music and good suicide prevention. We love being musicians because we are able to express ourselves and spread positive messages through our music. It gives us the opportunity and privilege to be able to perform live and ‘offer an escape of reality to our listeners, and people need it.”

Starting in October 2017, the worlds of shadow and light collided in a catastrophic collision, creating Vicki’s Dream. The inventors and storytellers behind Vicki’s Dream soundtrack and world story began with Toxic Thomas followed by Brince, Crow and Fantazma.

The four creative minds of this motley crew bonded over several different musical genres while developing their own blend of punk, goth and metal sounds that became the musical vanguard of their driving “post-apocalyptic” sound. Vicki’s Dream is here to break down the walls of reality while delving deep into the human condition and invites the listener on a quest to witness both the beauty and chaos found in darkness and embrace the light within them. each day.

But just who is Vicki you ask? Vicki is the main character in our story. She is a strong young woman who fell into a deep sleep and woke up in a post-apocalyptic world of our beloved land left in destruction and disarray. It’s up to her to prevent that from happening and put everything back in perfect balance. Vicki represents a beacon of power and hope for all in her quest to save the earth and humanity from evil demonic forces working in conjunction with a tyrannical terrorist organization. Our songs represent his dreams and his experiences. Fasten your seatbelts for an epic musical journey as the boat descends the river, and there’s no telling how far the river goes.

Fans of Vicki’s Dream have described their sound in the likes of The B-52s meet The Misfits and Blondie having sex with The Go-Go’s. Their main influences come from artists and bands such as The Misfits, Siouxsie Sue, Peter Murphy, The Plasmatics, Prince, A Perfect Circle, Faith No More, Dead Kennedys, Sonic Youth and many more. They had the honor of opening for notable famous acts including Wednesday the 13th and Psyclon Nine. They are currently working on an album and plan to release it this year. They say winning the $10,000 from the contest would be spent on the band’s basic needs such as expenses for their album, merch and gear, so they can continue to develop and improve their sound and give a tangible and engaging experience to their fans.
