Classic rock band Toto have announced that their scheduled tour has been cancelled, including the band’s stop in Corpus Christi.
American Bank Center said on its Facebook page in February that the show was originally postponed, but the band confirmed the cancellation on Monday.
In a Facebook post, Toto said refunds would be issued automatically.
Known for his hit songs ‘Africa’, ‘Rosanna’, ‘Hold the Line’ and more, Toto was scheduled to perform at the Selena Auditorium as part of his ‘Dogs of Oz’ tour.
“The band is terribly sorry for any inconvenience and has specifically asked all ticket holders for refunds,” Toto said in a Facebook post. “Toto is working to reschedule many announced flagship events that have been confirmed, and news will be shared as these plans materialize for 2023.”
Ongoing performances with Journey across the US will continue through May 11 with a closing concert in Hartford, Ct., the band has confirmed.
One of their shows will be an appearance at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo on Thursday night.
